I have some files in .bin/.cue format which I want to write to cdr recordable
disks. I am trying to use cdrdao for this as follows:
cdrdao write --speed 1 FOOBAR.CUE
Cdrdao version 1.2.2 - (C) Andreas Mueller <andreas.TakeThisOut@daneb.de>
SCSI interface library - (C) Joerg Schilling
Paranoia DAE library - (C) Monty
Check
http://cdrdao.sourceforge.net/drives.html#dt for current driver
tables.
Using libscg version 'ubuntu-0.8ubuntu1'
/dev/cdrw: LITE-ON DVDRW SOHW-812S Rev: US0Q
Using driver: Generic SCSI-3/MMC - Version 2.0 (options 0x0000)
Starting write at speed 8...
Pausing 10 seconds - hit CTRL-C to abort.
Process can be aborted with QUIT signal (usually CTRL-\).
WARNING: No super user permission to setup real time scheduling.
Turning BURN-Proof on
Enabling JustSpeed.
ERROR: Cannot set write parameters mode page.
ERROR: Cannot setup write parameters for session-at-once mode.
ERROR: Please try to use the 'generic-mmc-raw' driver.
ERROR: Writing failed.
Does anyone know what is going wrong here?
Also, how do I verify that the recording was successful? Is there some
sort of checksum that can be calculated against the .bin and .cue files
and the cdr recordable disk?
Mark.
