Hi Community,

does somebody knows, if there is a possibility to check all installed
packages of a system? I had a power failure in a middle of a "yum update"
and now many packages complain that components are missing.

rpm -qa give me 2079 package names and it would be nice to be able to check
if all files of all packages are there and if all dependencies are met.

Unluckily I'm not a pipe expert...

Many thanks in advance.

Responses also wellcome to Harald dot Becherer at netsurf dot de

'man rpm', see '--verify' ('rpm -Va' will go through all packages;
redirect its output). Lots of details about '--verify' on this
manpage.

Also get yum-utils package and see 'package-cleanup' from there.
