Hi. There are any repositories with Slackware 13 64bit version
packages that work with slapt-get for example?

Heanet.ie (Ireland) has the actual dvd image available for download. I
am downloading it now.
I haven't discovered a US source yet. The estimate varies between 6
and 8hours from heanet.ie.
At the moment I have 3% downloaded and a 6 hour estimate.

The bittorrent package available with slack, ktorrent, has lots of
bells and whistles but no user manual.
I don't know how much faster it is. And I can't figure out how to use
it.

There is another bittorrrent package in the extras folder. Haven't
tried that one yet.
If bittorrent is now the standard way to get Slack it might help to
put that package in with the main distro.

I only note that the Slack site seems to push for bittorrent. BTW the
current estimate on my download.
is one hour and seven minutes. So I may yet have results before
bedtime (EDT).

What site has an rsync feed for the Slack isos?

I've not had much joy but I have just discovered the merits of sbopkg -
which makes using slackbuilds really simple.

bittorrent is no more standard than ftp or rsync. I use rsync to
get the source file tree -- only way to track -current, also good
for getting the updates, and write own DVDs if required.

Well torrents are easier to setup tracking and seeders than 'formal'
mirror sites, and slackware.com don't keep the mirror list up to date,
so one needs to explore local mirror sites.

Well that's good, nearly there.

I'm in the land downunder, a good site for me may not be a good site
for you. Besides, I'm on a slow connection, takes me about 40 hours
to download a DVD iso image. I rarely do torrents.

Rsync is more suited to downloading a bunch of files, ftp with resume
is better for large, single files (I use wget for files from http or
ftp).

Bittorrent also good for large files as it chops them up for transfer
in pieces -- providing your ISP is torrent friendly, ISPs over here
seem to think all torrents infringe copyright.

Keeping a local mirror of the -current file trees means I have no
problem getting the 'new' .iso when a release is out -- I already
have it here Smile Lately I'm spending more time with soldering iron
than computers, so I haven't installed slack-13 on other boxes here
yet.

For example,
rsync://elektroni.phys.tut.fi/slackware/slackware64-13.0-iso/slackware...13.0-in
