Post subject: Network-Setup on FC10 !?
Archived from groups: linux>redhat>install (more info?)

Hi to all and a "happy new year" !

i have just done a fresh install of FC10 on my system where i had before
FC8 running fine and now ended up with the following problem:

while installing FC10 setup the network connection to DHCP, what i have
enabled but what i not want to use for my fixed-PCs. I spent a lot of
time in configure the network but it seems, that the PC connect to the
network only when i login. Than i have to restart the BOINC-Service. Also
if i configure the network through the Network-Config out of the System-
Menu the netmask is corrupted and the network didn't work at all.

any hints ?
