I have a newbie question: How much lines of code needs ext3-driver in
the Linux-kernel? (in Codelines and in Kilobyte).

Additional question: Is an overview availible for all kernel
subsystems (codelines, kilobyte)?

As a newbie, this would be an excellent exercise in learning how to use
the `wc' utility.

Maybe throw in some text processing to weed out comments and empty lines.

As to the size of the driver in Kilobytes, the ... ahem ... "size"
utility comes to mind.
