Hi all,

I was wondering whether any of you is using likewise open under Debian?
I have downloaded the latest installer from the Likewise site and
installed it. I am able to login to my Linux system using AD
credentials, but right now I would like to make it a bit more secure and
allow only selected AD users to login. I have found some information
which basically says that I need to create a new AD user group, drop the
desired users into it and under Linux add "require_membership_of =
DOMAIN\New_Group". I have added this statement to the
/etc/likewise/lsassd.conf file and refreshed the LW configuration.
Unfortunately, now no AD user can successfully login to my Linux system.
As soon as I remove this entry and refresh the configuration every AD
user can login to my system again.

Could you please let me know what am I doing wrong?

Thanks,
AP

Hmmm. I'd never heard of it until now... Wink

I've always done this the hard way, so this sounds like a neat tool.
I'll download it and give it a go by the weekend, and then I'll get
back to you if no one else has... Wink
