Package: xserver-xorg
Version: 1:7.0.22
Severity: important
When I try and use the View Source Chart extension in Mozilla Firefox, Xorg segfaults.
I get thrown out of X, and have to log back in again. If I run the copy of Firefox on
a Sarge machine via SSH, then Firefox works perfectly on that machine.
Here is the relavent chunk from /var/log/messages

I'm running the nVidia proprieatary drivers.
It's very reporducable on my system, so I can do some tests if it will help, e.g. try
the nv driver, or different X settings.

This is pretty likely to be a problem with the nvidia driver. Could you
test this with nv or vesa and let us know if it's still a problem?

Brice,
I had forgotten about this. I think it was concluded that it was a nVidia
driver bug, as the problem doesn't manifest under the open-source Xorg nv
driver. I'm sure I replied, but I must have forgotten.
It was not a problem under the nv driver and the later nvidia (1.0.8776-4)
driver was also free of the problem.
Sorry for not responding earlier.

I never really understood how there could be things that would
drive you insane just because you knew them until I ran into Windows.
