I've done this for many groups. I'm thinking about scripting up
something that will grep for "blogspot" and kill the post.

Great, and you can start by not adding to the clutter of quoting the
content in reply. Do you really need to tell this to the spammer (whom
will never see it), or the group so we can all know you've KF'ed google
groups? If nothing else, not because I really care about the other
two, consider at least not quoting their spam URL when you reply.
